Fiber Arts
At Fiori del Campo Suri Alpacas, we hand process raw fleeces from our lovely herd as well as from other American Suris and transform them into handmade, one-of-a-kind garments and handspun, hand dyed yarns. Our pieces from our signature line, “1 Hot Mess Urban Thrashwear”, along with our yarns, are available through our Esty store at www.fioridelcampo.etsy.com and can also be found at various artists’ and fashion events as well as at fiber festivals and handcrafted art stores. Our handspun yarns range from 100% Suri in natural colors to Suri blended with Huacaya Alpaca, finer micron wool, silk, cotton, and other exotic fibers. It is our main intent to highlight the beauty of the Suri, not downplay it, when do blend fibers. Some of the custom services we offer are hand spinning, hand dyeing, garment design and construction, knitting, felting and crocheting. We will also prepare your fleeces by skirting, sorting, drum carding, spinning and dyeing. You name it, we can do it! Please note that Fiori del Campo is committed to protecting the environment, and uses non-toxic and environmentally friendly dyes whenever possible.

All our fiber arts classes can be taught either at my artist’s studio at the Hoffner Street About Space in Northside, or offsite at your school, facility, home or farm.
